New Dress Code for Infection Control

The 1.7 million healthcare acquired infections per year cost our patients, our system, and us, untold misery.

Use Hot Water and Bleach to wash your scrubs and/or lab coats. No ties, watches, jewelry,  wear short sleeves and close toed shoes.

Acinetobacter , Pseudomonas, Clostridium diff were all found on  sleeves, pockets and other sites of health care worker’ clothing, and a third of neckties grew staph; some studies found  resistant organisms.
How are you cleaning your cell phones or tablets? computer keys?
